Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Broom Service app for iPhone, made by Barú Software Co. (“we”). By using the app you agree to them and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs every app from the App Store. If the two ever conflict, Apple’s agreement wins.

What the app does

Broom Service suggests photos and videos you may want to delete, such as duplicates, similar shots, screenshots and large videos. Suggestions are made automatically and can be wrong. You decide what to delete; nothing is deleted until you confirm, and iOS keeps deleted items in Recently Deleted for 30 days.

Your photos are your responsibility

Please keep a backup of anything important (for example with iCloud Photos). We are not responsible for photos or videos you delete, including after they leave Recently Deleted.

Broom Service Plus

• Plus is a one-time, non-consumable purchase sold by Apple. It is not a subscription and never renews.
• It is tied to your Apple Account; restore it on another iPhone from the app’s Settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• We may add, change or improve Plus features over time.

Fair use

Don’t reverse engineer, resell or misuse the app, or use it to break the law. Broomy, the Broom Service name and the app’s art are ours; please don’t use them without permission.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Barú Software Co. is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above when we do; using the app afterwards means you accept the new version.
